Ink Lineart
Cars
If I rock at those things, ever, in the future, I think I'd be a way better artist than I am now. I mean like, seriously better, not just any ol' ordinary better. They're just the prime things that are probably making me fail really badly in my stuff. But I'm probably being too hard on myself.
Just gotta keep practicing with those ink pens/brush pens... and I gotta hit an art supply store sometime.. I really want to experiment with traditional color (watercolor/color pencil/marker) and extreme pencil detail. (.03 mm lead pencils, woosh!)

In the meantime, I'm going to continue to write up my coloring walkthrough guide that I'm gonna release on enterVOID forums and deviantART. I've decided it's going to be in 3 parts, since I can imagine myself saying tons and tons of crap about colors.. there's alot to them.
So, just to give you guys a breakdown,
part 1 will cover
1. Color wheel; The fundamentals
2. How to choose your colors; Contrast, brightness, balance
3. Shading and Lighting
part 2 will cover
1. Coloring with your lineart
2. Painting a background
3. Digital watercolor on pencil
part 3 is optional, and will cover special effects/extra ambient crap
1. Fire
2. Water
3. Electric/Energy
4. ?? more maybe ??
By no means will I be passing all of this as the 'correct' way to color. it's just colors from my understanding that will help other people out if I share some of my knowledge of how I do things. If anyone has comments/concerns/questions. please post and I'll get back to you on that!

ENTERVOID'S SDT TOURNEY. ROUND 2. AHHHHHHHHHHHH.
Thats is all for VOID.
---------------------------
Only managed to make one new pic today. its a creature/character concept I made for a collaborative comic project with a couple of friends. Her name is Siren, and by myth, the species is called a Lusca - a rather direct hybrid of a Shark and a Squid. She's had a harpoon impale her dorsal fin and probably a couple of rough fights with some ships.
